I've tried the Lavender versions of Taylor's and AOS. I found the scent of AOS to be better, but Taylor's had the superior lather.
Any one else want to throw in their 2 cents? Any other brand recommendations?

HB Lavender is nice. Great Lather and shave. The scent isn't super strong but still very nice.

Hands down - QED Lavender.
By using real essential oils, Charles has made the difficult easy to do and has made a Lavender cream that performs as excellently as it smells.

If you search around a bit, you'll find some recent threads on lavender creams. Castle Forbes has a lot of fans, as doe D. R. Harris.

Colleen at The Gentlemen's Quarter also makes an outstanding lavender cream (other flavors too!). As with other home made products, the price can't be beat. Colleen's site is not up yet, but you can email her at
[email protected] This site www.rjoutram.com also carries her products in the UK and has pics, etc. Try it, you'll like it. :thumbup1:

I'm a big fan of the Castle Forbes Lavender cream.

If you mean soaps, click on the "Other fabulous toiletry products offered by QED" link in the bottom left. You'll find them in the middle of the page.
If you mean QED creams, well there aren't any...yet.

Only shave soaps.

True, Charles is offering soaps, but with a little lathering, I cannot discern any difference between the results of Charles' soaps and conventional creams.
I always seem to get a closer shave with the QED shaving items - no matter what blade or razor that I use.

Speick shave cream, while not a pure-play lavender, does contain lavender in addition to the speick extract. Superb lather.

And as a cap off, try Saint Charles Shave's lavender A/S milk & lavender EDT... it is truly a delightful smelling combination. Just grand stuff.
