I thought the angle of the razor head was the same for all the 1912 razors. Apparently I thought wrong:

Check these photos - anyone else encounter this?

perhaps some are bent. It would take much effort to bend them right above the screw part.

My 1912 and my (old) damaskeene are a little bit different - could be bent though.

They are not bent, and maybe George Lucas got the idea while shaving with an SE?

Does that mean he thinks they're evil?

Soldiers in the clone wars.

My various Gems have different shaving angles also.

I don't use a GEM, so obviously the reason for this question;

Does it matter that the angle on the head is different from GEM to GEM when theoretically you are basing your blade angle off of the top of the blade holder and not the handle?

Theoretically, no. I guess. Maybe.

I did "cold work" them back into shape so I was wrong as they were bent. Still I didn't think it was possible.

I also thought the head angle was the same as well. No question the angle is going to effect the shave. Very, very curious D. Ranger. Thanks for posting this.

on most occasions, it is because of them being bent.
