This razor is in very good condition. There's a little bit of brassing on one guide bar and on the TTO knob, as well as some water spotting on the top of the head, but it's mechanically flawless. It'll make somebody a trusty little razor. $14 shipped CONUS. Sold. Thanks!

Bump.
I have one of these '57 SS and it was my first DE razor. It was a great starter for me and even if it was just my starter, it's still a keeper.
Best with your sale

got my first shave with it this morning - very comfortable and close
i'm wondering if anybody else has experience with a 1960 SS versus a 1957
the '57 seems just a teeny bit more aggressive to me - may be all in my head though

or could be that the safety bar got bent some time in the last 50 years to expose the blade more. No? Maybe?

hard to say
it wasn't a huge difference
plus, my experience is so limited - i just started with the 1960 last week, and gave my face a rest yesterday
so, fresh blade today in the '57 versus week old blade a couple days ago in the 1960...
too many variables, i guess
