AS and Acne cream

Hey all,
I use a prescription acne cream in the morning and night. It has a moisturizer in it, but not enough for a good AS. My question is, since I shave in the morning or at night, would it make more sense to put on the acne cream after the shave, followed by an AS balm a few minutes later, or use the AS balm, then the cream a few minutes later?

I don't know which you want to apply first, but I do know you are probably going to put as much time in between your shave and acne cream medication as possible. Otherwise you may experience some noticeable discomfort.

I sometimes use a benzoyl peroxide gel around my neck to prevent/get rid of the occaisional zit there. I usually use aqua velva, let that dry/evaporate, then apply the gel on top. I figure the AV would wash off/dilute the gel medication.

Sorry I should have been a little more clear.

The acne cream isn't benzoyl, the dermatologist actually told me I was welcome to use it as an aftershave, I just want something with a little better moisturizing. It feels like a light moisturizing lotion.
