Help 8/8

Hello!

I bought a bar of steel 52100, and I want a razor blade 8/8, but I never saw one, could someone pass me measures of a razor 8/8.
I want know the length, thickness.
The steel is 37mm x 8mm x 250mm .
I would look like these models.

If your bar is stock, then I say customize it! There is no "set" dimensions that you need to follow really. But in general the blade is close to 3 or 4 (on the BIG side)", and the tang is prolly closer to 3", and of course for an 8/8 blade, grind accordingly. Also, you will want to decide how you want to make your grind. 1/4 hollow is a good choice for a bigger blade, and is easier to grind also.
