First of all, thanks B&B and the community for the wealth of info and support.
I started wet shaving with a DE a couple of weeks ago. It has been a bumpy, but fun ride. I have tried different combination and today was my best shave.
I used a Muhle Pinsel r89, w/Derby Extra Blade, Speick cream, and C&E BBB.
It was completely irritation free and comfortable shave. I would say it was an awesome DFS shave with a couple of rough spots on the neck area. I could have tried for BBS, but didn't want to push my luck.
For all the newbies out there (like me), be patient and do your research. you won't be disappointed.
Can't wait until tomorrow for my next shave, and I thought you were all crazy for being exited about a shave. :)
