I'm a newbie and am in need of help identifying a few of the razors I have. Below are the razors I have labeled as best I can figure out. I am actually fairly certain on all of the Gillette razors except one and I'm fairly certain on the Gem's also. The one in question is the gold razor in the Aristocrat box. I have looked everywhere and can't find an Aristocrat that looks like this, however it does look very similar to a gold plated tech. There are no date codes on the razor at all. Also the box that it's in does look like an Aristocrat box from the 1940's. It is brown with maroon lining. I picked this razor up at an antique store for around $10.00.

I would appreciate it if anyone could help me identify the razor in question and confirm the rerst as I have them labeled. If it has a year then I have gotten it from the date code with the exception of the 1948/1949 SS in which case it has no date codes but does have the notch common to only the 1948 and 1949 models. Thank you.

Sorry about the picture quality. Only have my iPhone handy for pics at the moment. Let me know if I need to provide better photos. Thanks again.

The "102" is also known as an "Old Type."

The gold razor is a gold, fat handled Tech.

Nice collection.

The Gold Razor in the box is a Fat Handled Tech.
Looks like the rest are reasonable (can't see date codes to be sure).
Don't know about the one labeled 1918 102 or the GEM Contour.

The Contour is a Push Button and both Fatboys are actually Slims. Very nice collection.

Those are Fat Boys based on the knurling at the top of the TTO knob

The case that holds the fat handle gold Tech belongs to a 1946-47 no notch Aristocrat with two unknurled bands on the handle.
