Had coffee with a contractor today at a great little cafe' called Guy's: Nice folks, good coffee, great sandwiches, pastries, etc.

He had evidentally had a class of little kids through as a class trip and they had made little posters in crayon, thanking him for the trip and (undoubtedly) the treats.

The poster by the door was done by a little one that had to learn how to space lettering. She (guessing by the colours) had wanted to thank him for the butter tart --which are excellent, by the way -- that he had apparently given out.

At a distance of a foot, you could tell that all the letters were there:

"GUY'S BUTT er
TARTS ARE VERY
GOOD"

 I sat where I could read it and snicker every few minutes as I sipped my coffee.

I have seen several of these thank you type pictures from young children field trips. The innocence and young mind can be very amusing.

It sure can. At that age you really can see they are the light of the world.
