For all you gamers out there, heres Fallout 3 for ya. I tried playing it, but just couldnt get into it, and simply dont have the time for the RPG genre, or much video gaming at all, unfortunately :001_tongu.

Anyways, it is used, and looks like it goes for about $40 on Amazon, so I'll reciprocate.

Asking $40 Shipped CONUS.

Whatever you do, do not buy this game! This game will suck you in, and you will ignore your wife, your kids, your job, you won't eat, you won't sleep...

You will be reduced to a quivering blob of Red Bull hydrated, malnourished substance, withdrawn from all human contact, only interested in what the next chapter holds.

Just kidding. This is in the top ten list of best games I've ever played, and I've been a gamer for 25 years. Great deal, too. Good luck with the sale...

I played a few hours of it, and it was indeed very fun. I have recently found out though, that games which require you to play for hours such as this, I simply do not have time for. I prefer a quick 30 min session with SFIV or Halo but simply cannot handle hours of gaming anymore... At least not when SWMBO is around...

Never played it. How similar is it to the first two? I loved playing them on my computer back in the day.

I have never played the first 2, but from what I have heard and read, it is the best of the 3.

It's different from them, to be sure, but the majority of fans of the first two that I know also like the third.

The game is basically Oblivion (the latest in the Elder Scrolls series) with a Fallout colored coat of paint. Personally, I think that sounds great, and this game was my personal choice for 2008 Game of the Year. (Of course, living in DC, I'm a bit biased towards games that let me play in a post-apocalyptic version of my hometown.)

Yup. You hit the nail on the head. If you loved Oblivion, you'll love Fallout 3.

Awesome game!

I played it before Oblivion (on PS3) and loved it so much that I bought oblivion, but wound up not even playing much at all of Oblivion due to poor view controls :( Not sure if the 360 had the problem, but I suspect not.

At any rate, fall out 3 definitely is top notch. A cross between an RPG and a FPS. And yeah, maybe a bit biased living in/around DC!

Oblivion and the other elder scrolls series was okay. Sounds more like a FPS... or FPSRPG like Mass Effect. Hrm... its different but fun!

It doesn't have the wit or humor of the first two. There is some flexibility of good v. evil but it doesn't strongly affect the game either way.

It was exactly Oblivion with a Fallout coat of paint. I didn't particularly like Oblivion so I saw this as a negative. That said, as long as you aren't expecting *actual* Fallout, this game is okay. It is Fallblivion Lite.

With all the default settings, yeah, it's an FPSRPG. You have the option to switch to a third person view, though, and there is also an optional combat system called V.A.T.S. that allow you to pause time, and select a series of body parts of enemies within range to target and fire at. It's the closest I've seen to turn-based gameplay in any FPS.

I have it for PC, the part I enjoy most is the random chance to get a critical hit, where the shot goes into slow motion and follows the bullet in "Matrix" style until the bullet finds its mark. Doesn't happen often, but when it does, it is a spectacle!

Well, you have the option of creating a nuclear explosion at one point. That would clearly "shave" any hair off. BBS too
