I always wanted to say this so:
Let's see the goods for the week!
I'll start first.
I got this on the mail today.
Is the booklet that came (or you could buy) with the WWI Military set.
Is pretty nice, has 20 pages with loads of information about the army, and some advertisement on the new Gillette Models (New Standard, Officer's set, and Pocket Editions).
some pictures of the Booklet and Also my Military Set

I got this on a car boot sale over the weekend, and I must say I'm pretty happy with it.
It came with 4 blades, 3 of which show no sign of been used, and the paper wrap in excellent condition.

I've also got a couple more boxes that should be coming this week. I think I might be coming down with an Acquisition Disorder....

got this cool (What I was hoping was a slant) today from the bay. It's a vintage slant without any markings except the case which is bakelight and states "Golf" on the top. The razor is aluminum I believe due to the weight.

Palmolive shaving cream.
After the excellent reviews here, I just had to pick up one.

I am not disappointed at all; at a mere 2 USD it really is great value!

Great stuff. You're going to love that slant. I was curious, how would you describe the hair tonic. Does it keep your hair in place? Does it leave it stiff, is there any oil in it, what's the fragrance like? Thanks in advance.
DanOK

There is no oil in the Pashana tonic. I am a normal to oily type person. You know, normal when I get out of the shower in the morning and burning eyes oily by the end on the day.
Based on information I gleaned here at B&B, I switched to Nexxus shampoo and began using Pashana at the same time, about six months ago, due to a long standing small dandruff problem which has completely gone away.
It has a citrus fragrance. I normally apply it after I shave so my hair is still a little damp from the shower. Somewhat like aftershave I put some in my hand and rub it into my hair and scalp. Comb my hair, put on my St Christopher, and I'm ready to get dressed. It provides a small amount of hold as my hair finishes drying.
Does it help? I think so, but any data I have would be anecdotal (YMMV). I enjoy using the product and personally would recommend it to others.
Hope I answered your question.

Went antique shop-hopping this weekend and came up with these.
1. 1953 (Y2) Superspeed - Fair/Useable Condition. (The woman has claimed this one)
2. 1960 (F2) Tech - Unused! with 2 blades but no box. :glare:
Also a 2pack of Blue Blades and a proprietary Playtex blades just for fun.

I spotted a Gillette Travel set w/ engraved box @ $15. I have one already and it was a bit pricy. Also I spotted an old 102-style clone w/ an engraved handle but it was made by a germany, 4-letter name. Also, too spendy for me. If you have any idea on the german one, let me know. Also the rest of my collection is posted in my n00b thread Here (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=100843).
Thanks again everyone!
A friend of mine came back to Australia from Japan. I scored a bottle of Mandom aftershave:w00t:

Today's fleamarket scores, pre cleaning:
http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e259/Jakobeep/Vintage/Score010809.jpg
Bottom, from the left:
Very interesting collapsable silver plated razor, appears unused. No markings
Silver plated Brit. Gillette NEW, in what appears to be good condition, in Brit. service set
Boar brush, possible restoration project, though I may just toss it
Top. from the left:
Rusty cromed iron/steel razor, stamped Made in germany - in a outright disgusting Gillette box filled with hair :001_07:
Brit. alu handle Gillette Tech with ruined safety bar (part's razor)
Brit. Gillette Slim Twist de-luxe :w00t: I bought the brush and the beat up razors just to get this, the seller would only sell as a lot, but I still got it dirt cheap
Single ring Old-Type clone

Yesterday at antique mall. A gold Tech, still waiting on identity of name and year. An F - 2 Fatboy. Neither has been polished, just cleaned. The tech was $8.00 and the Fatboy was $6.00. Both just lying in the same old box with a couple more razors. There was a slim also, but the clean up would have been tuff. I only wish the owner of the stand himself would have been there, maybe I could have gotten a better deal.
Post cleanup pics. of some of today's fleamarket haul:

So is this simply how they packaged the slim adjustable in the UK -- Mark II? I had never seen this label before and would appreciate comments on the name of this mint adjustable. It is a beauty!
Is this a travel set? I had not seen a set with this case and 2 silver tubes -- one for a brush and the other for a shave stick. Very clean and incredibly shiny! Anyone have a more definitive name -- Gillette Marketing hype?

Picked up a lovely Ever Ready British made 1912. I paid £5 for it not sure if that is too much but it is in mint condition, a few light scratches absolutely no brassing dents or filth hiding anywhere.. I really like it, shame it didn't have a box. Anyone know how long the British ones were in production? The question is do i get a blade and give it a try?
I also got a old spice mug (not pictured) for £2

Nope, not at all. Surprisingly it is very easy to use and very comfortable. In fact it may be better for the wrist because it isn't small like some brush handles. I had considered selling it after the restoration was complete, but it is just so unique, beautiful and great to use I decided to keep it.
