My mission in life is to say what everyone else is thinking but too afraid to say. In most organizations, that makes me a troublemaker, which is my title on SRP, where I get to choose. As far as hot or not, my wife thinks I am and that's all that counts.

If the wife is happy everyone is happy.
I loved the show married with children and thought Ms. Sagal was a very underrated actress. Hence, the avatar. As for as my being hot or not, the SWMBO W thinks I am.

I am one of those people who like to associate a face with everyone. Those of you who use a face wether yours or not I can recognize on the forum but the animals and other things unless really hilarious I can not. On my facebook it drives me crazy when my friends use their childrens face. I feel like I am typing things that are inappropriate for these young kids.

My sig line pretty much explains my avatar. I'm an effective ointment. I get deep under people's skin. Some would find this to be comforting, others find it itchy and uncomfortable. All would agree that it smells a bit odd... (except Septic Tank. He finds it pleasant.)

Unless of course, you're Gollum and find monkeys' armpits quite delectable.
My avatar is, perhaps, self explanatory.
With only one brief exception my avatar has featured a Linux (Tux) penguin as my little advert for Linux.
The present avatar came after day 2 or 3 of the Muppet Invasion, since I didn't like my assigned Muppet of the Hippie Chick from Dr. Zoot's (?) Band as it was non-penguin and somewhat freaky. Thus, the basis of the present avatar: a lesser known Muppet called "Cesar" who is of course, an Emperor Penguin, aptenodytes fosterii.
Then as Vice Czar under Cory, I eventually added the sable hat to match with Cory's George-in-sable-hat avatar. Now as Czar, having overthrown Georgie Boy, I've kept my avatar the same.
Aren't you glad you asked?

I hate to change my avatar. It's kind of like changing your face and expecting people to recognize you. But I had an embarrassing avatar incident this weekend. A bunch of people thought it was Michael Jackson. Well I never!!! And I never realized Michael was striving to look like Barbara Steele. But it's true. Check it out if you like (http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?p=1340850#post1340850). A shrunken head version of the first picture is that B&B post is the old avatar. Well, I put my foot down--no, not to do the moon walk--and used a different picture from La Maschera del demonio.
Funny thing is, it's kind of ironic that it was Michael's face that had to change.

My avatar is an homage to a nice Jewish boy named Julius ... everyone laughed at him when he went into the family business, but he enjoyed modest success. In later years, he passed the time smoking fine cigars and having an appreciate audience as he spouted his curmudgeonly philosophies.

I don't know. I had occasion to meet him twice here and he didn't smell any worse than anyone else. His wife is a pilot and they tie down at the school I was a freelance instructor at when they are here.
I could tell you this is a true story but you will have to make up your own mind. The first time, my class and I were taking a break when this beautiful aircraft taxis in and Mr. Pitt and Ms Jolie climb out. She barks at me "how about a little help here!" I trotted over and asked what I could do.
"Well, it should be obvious", she snaps, "fill the tanks and find me a tie down in the shade." I caught his eye and he rolled his eyes and shook his head.
I filled it up and pushed it over into a shaded spot and tied it down.
"That's better", she snaps, "now, where do I go to pay?"
"I have no idea", I say, "since I don't work here."
As I walked away, I know I saw him trying very hard not to laugh. I think he's probably a decent guy.

But not all cigarettes stink. The smell of smoke itself can be a perfume. If you're dating a woman that doesn't opt for the obligatory Marlboro Light or Newport (or, as I like to call them, "Stale Cat Pee sticks"). Even though I don't smoke cigarettes, I can still appreciate the taste on someone else's lips.

True. But most do (to me). I have smelled some pretty good clove cigarettes. I just really don't like it; I prefer dating women who share my interest in taking care of ourselves. I also meet very few women who smoke who don't think it's ok to toss the butts wherever, whenever. Another turn-off for me. And that's wierd, because I know girls who don't really litter, except for that.

I hear you. I'm the same way with women who drink. If I kiss a woman who has Budweiser on her breath, I kind of want to throw up in mouth a little.
Ditto! I was seeing this girl years back, when I was 19, she was like 25, and she had a drink at the club. She leaned over to kiss me, and "transferred" whatever she was drinking to my mouth. That was wierd. I was like,"Uhh, thanks."

Delerium is a great beer! I can't get my hands on it very often but when I do, it's nice! Dunny has great taste... Unfortunate that I missed him when he was in Melbourne... I guess I have to go to Sydney now :001_rolle
As for my avatar, yup, that's me.
I wonder if we just got a bad bottle of it. I did a Belgian beer blind tasting during the winter, and 3 experienced beer drinkers couldn't even take a second sip of the sample. To me it tasted like spoiled rootbeer mixed with kerosene.
Edit: I knew I had seen a similar thread in here. Look to this one for more ideas on people http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=98845

Oh, I don't know. There are advantages to dating a smoker. None I can list here on a family friendly forum but . . .

I can think of only one advantage. If you stink she'll always smell worse. I can always tell when a smoker walks in a room regardless of distance of size it just stinks.

In another forum I had a pic of myself as my avatar, but my then-stalker found me, joined, and began harassing me. After that I deleted anything on-line with my photo on it.

Hah! Smoking is quite unnecessary for any advantages, in my experience. I prefer smokeless kisses and no stench interfering with nice perfume.

Ah, the innocence of youth

Who are you and what you look like? So many of you use a random pictures of "stuff" why? Are you hot or not?
One of the grad students a few years ago, a wonderful young woman from Hong Kong saw my HS Yearbook Photo. She looked at it. The she looked at me. Then she looked back at the photo and said, 'Wow, Lou. you WERE HOT!!"
Out of the mouths of babes come things adults never should have said in the first place.
Nothing I would share with small children :w00t:
I agree. Best to get them used at an early age to one meal day. Oh those hunger pangs, they're perfectly normal honey. :tongue_sm
Okay Wendy. I'll be the 1st to answer the call the way I thought you meant it.

Hot? Yes. < fliching, awaiting certain demise...>
Jeff, which one are you? :tongue_sm
You know I'm just kidding.
I break camera lenses and scare kids with this face o mine so I'm doing you a favor by not showing it to you.
Same here. Babies cry within 50 feet of me.
The deo
thing could have been a one-shot deal. I keep a spare in my car in case I forget, but it happens. The cigarettes, though, ugh. Nothing kills the vibe for me like seing some gorgeous babe light up. It's like,"Damn. DAMN! *click* Wahh wahh wahhhhh..."
Ironically, my offers to help them quit smoking by engaging in a healthier substitute rarely get the kind of appreciative response I hope for.
I'm thinking of this for my next avatar. Pretty hot, no?
There are some things Spandex should never be asked to do, and which should be considered obscene anywhere, at anytime.
This 33 year old comic uses his own picture as an avatar. Unfortunately, I'm only hot when I'm in the sun. The rest of the time I'm room temperature...
 I don't get it. Where's the humor in that? Are you saying that during the winter you're a Jets fan but in the summer turn into a small air conditioner?
