I was wondering, since it sounds like many of you guys shave off all the facial hair. I keep a neatly trimmed beard (about a #2 on the clipper scale). Sometimes a full goatee. But never clean shaven.

In my rush to get ready for Church this morning, I cut myself REALLY bad on my lip/moutache area. Couldn't stop the bleeding for about 20 minutes, even with a bunch of styptic... Any of you ever had that one (or more) cut that was a gusher?

So I am thinking it might be easier for me to get into straight razor shaving by making one, or in this case modifying one. I seen all the posts about the Gold Dollar razors and what people can do with them and thought "wow, this may be a way for me to have a decent looking and working shaver"....
