"Old" Erasmic cream vs "New Improved Formula" Erasmic

    Thread Starter: oversaturn

Answering to a question posted by an user of another forum, I decided to write this thread, in order to show the differences between the old Erasmic Shaving cream and the new version that sells nowadays in the British market - and also in many on-line shops. In all the photos, the old version is...

    SOTD: 20 - 26 May 2013

    Thread Starter: BRuhling

B&Bers, last week was yet another fabulous showing. The SOTD is by far the best thread on this forum. And it is all because of your contributions! I'm starting off this week with a Chandler pattern welded steel blade. It was a velvet squeegee and I am a happy man!

    Cracked!

    Thread Starter: rushchairman

This morning I was surprised to discover that my Berkeley 46 has a tiny crack developing at the very top, running downward. It's only a couple of months old and I don't recall dropping it anywhere, ever. What should I expect moving forward? Is there anyway to sensibly remedy this totally lame...

Red Stag Black Cherry Bourbon by Jim Beam.

    Thread Starter: venkyle

Hey guys. I tried this the other day and I've got to say it might be the worst Bourbon/ whiskey to date for me. It smells and tastes like cherry cough syrup. I even tried it with coke to no avail. Am I alone in disliking this whiskey and is there anyone who actually prefers these artificially...

    Mike's, water and YMMV

    Thread Starter: Emanon

I've been using Mike's natural soap for a few weeks now and it's really great. However it started out better then it has been. I started out lathering this with very little water and I loved the cushion and protective feel of this soap. I tried various mixes of more and less water more loading,...

Not understanding any coolness factor with stubble

    Thread Starter: Ron Scott

I believe the look is supposed to convey manliness or toughness or whatever, but guys with stubble just look like they came off a bender and need a shower and shave to me. I reflexively look in their eyes too to see if they're on something. Norelco et al even sell "stubble maintainer" electric...

Hi there I am relatively new to B&B but have been a straight razor for a couple of years now. I have recently purchased and am awaiting a few beautiful new razors including a pre 1890 William Greaves and Sons 5/8ths wedge, and a A Feist & co Lunawerk which is a full hollow 6/8ths I am...

Is it possible to have to much hops? Here's some food for thought. http://www.slate.com/articles/life/drink/2013/05/hoppy_beer_is_awful_or_at_least_its_bitterness_is_ruining_craft_beer_s_reputation.html

Vintage NOS Butterscoth brushes - Collectors advice please!

    Thread Starter: Mark1966

I've got three vintage butterscotch brushes that I bought to use but when then arrived I think that they are actually NOS. The most recent two, a Clemak and a Culmak are shown below. I also have a Wee Scott shown in this thread.
