Description:
These blades are just awesomely smooth and very, very close. This review will not go into any details since you just have to try them. There's another review for PolSilver but it's different packaging and could be old stock. I'm reviewing the new stock from where I'm at here in the US. English speaking users might benefit from seeing this review since these blades are available here in the US at RB&M, although they will ship anywhere.

PolSilver is similar to the Indian 7 o'clock blacks IMO. These are better than the Indians by a substantial margin according to my testing though. these feel like pure quality YMMV. My face stays very smooth for over 24 hours and I have a thick beard. These are a joy to use. The 4th shave with the same blade is just about as good as the first, which is abnormal to me and my beard. There is only a slight drop off in smoothness, but the cutting power is still there with no tugging.

Not much else to say other than these have the Russian glue on them that sometimes lives right on the blade edge, which isn't good for shaving, but once removed with hot water/soap and a little rubbing you have a SUPER blade. Buy in bulk.

Polsilver stainless blades double-edge razor blades Price: US$6 for 10 blades–$0.60 per blade. Expensive because these blades have been discontinued. Quality: Consistent edges and short but smooth-looking bevels. Glue spots were not centered on the blades, so glue was applied to one edge of each blade. Sharpness: Second or third tier for sharpness. Nothing special, but they are effective. Longevity: These blades last 4 days for me. Smoothness of Shave: Smooth and just close enough. Packaging: Cardboard box of 10. Double-wrapped with glue spots.

These are discontinued, and that is ok with me now although they are better than many blades still in production. I have been testing these for some time now and have concluded, despite my last post, that these are not quite as good as the Gillette blacks in my opinion. The blacks are smoother for a longer period of time, FOR ME. I still like these, but I compare blades to each other and I thought it was worth noting that if you're looking for a blade of high quality, you can safely choose Gillette blacks as starting point as they are tops in the closeness/smootheness category along side Feather and are still being produced.
