Description:
I've been using Al's creams for a while and find them to be excellent so when re-ordering I added a pack of Calabria balm. The balm comes in a dark plastic pack with a valve top. Quite easy to get a 1/2" shot which is about right.

This balm is rich, thick and quite strongly scented. Like several of Al's products, the scent is very good and has echos of classics - Calabria has a definite Musgo Real grassiness, but there is also a strong citrus note in there - very pleasing and it lasts.

The moisturizing properties of this balm is outstanding. It feels oil-based rather than the more watery texture of say Speick. It absorbs well leaving a nice smooth and well groomed feel.

Al's products are not cheap but they are real quality and made on a small scale. I think this balm is good value for money and it's certainly above average in all respects. The only question is should I add a couple more scents? It's probably only a matter of time!
