Description:
The smell, oh the smell. This soap--which I received as a freebie with my order!--is so deliciously fragrant that your shower will be the highlight of your day--until you break out the matching shave cream and after shave! Lavender, rosemary and mint--what a combo. Try it--soon.

I agree Mitch. I got mine this morning and tried it this evening and WOW. Excellent lathering, hell it looked like my shaving bowl on my arm. It certainly leaves your skin feeling moisturized and the aroma lingers on you, which is nice. The peppermint & rosemary is a fantastic combo. Great job on this soap! Also, as an aside, Nancy Boy is very generous with freebies with your order. They included generous sized samples of their shampoo, facial cleanser & conditioner. Very good vendor..Give it a try!

I got my soap with my original order of shaving cream. Although the bars are large in size, I don't find them to be the "bargain" that the shaving cream is. I'll probably order more if I order additional Nancy Boy products, but I won't order the bath bars alone. It's a great product, but for soap, a tad bit expensive for my tastes.

Finally got around to using this. Just awesome stuff. Lathers up thicker than anything I have used on my body, is very slick, and not drying at all. Another top-notch product from the folks at NB

Nancy Boy is my first upscale soap I have really tried and I'm hooked! I always thought there had to be a soap out there that didn't dry ones skin out like the grocery store brands [I had used Lever for ages]. They actually sent me a sample of the Nancy Boy Spa Scent soap in my shave cream order. I knew the first time I used it I would never go back to generic soaps due to the super latherability, the super clean feeling and the moisturizing effect on my skin.

I have tried all their scents and my preference is in the following order: Tea Rose, Signature Scent, Lemongrass and Spa Scent. I do love the Signature Scent in both the soap and the shave cream. The peppermint gives you that little cooling effect without the harshness of menthol. NB Signature Scent is definitely a refreshing way to start the morning. I actually wake up looking forward to a shower with my NB soaps!

As far as price is concerned, it is actually on the lower end of the price range for a luxury soap [in addition the bars are huge and last a long time]. Buy the 3 bar value pack for $15, join the NB Club and get 15% off every order. That brings the price down to $4.25/Bar. Most upscale, moisturizing, natural soaps I've seen have been in the $7 to $9 range. IMHO that easily makes Nancy Boy Soaps one of the best values out there in a natural, moisturizing soap!

I'm hoping they come out with some traditional single note scent soaps as well, e.g. Lavender, Rose, Almond, etc.

The Nancy Boy bar is the first non-mass market soap I have ever used. This is some incredible body soap! The signature scent is very refreshing and enjoyable in the shower, brings a smile to the face when all you want to do is go back to bed.

My skin is left feeling very clean, soft and moisturized with no leftover soap film. I also use it on my scalp, as I am a head shaver. Normally I have to use a mild facial cleaner on my scalp to prevent dryness, but the NB soap leaves my scalp wonderfully supple and moisturized.

I ordered 1 bar with an order of the NB Shave Cream and A/S Gel to try out. My next order will be the three bar combo.

Soap is great, lasts really long and produces thick, rich lather. The packae is plastic wrap and gets a 5, what do you want from a soap package. The scent gets an 8, heavy peppermint smell to get you going in the morning. Nancy Boy makes great products highly recommend them all.

Some guys might be turned off at the price of the soap compared to your normal Dove/Dial stuff. I used to only use Dove, but I might switch permanently (for the near future anyways) to Nancy Boy soaps. The signature scent is refreshing in the shower, and does not linger afterwards, which is a good thing for guys who don't want to go around smelling like lavender and mint, or for those who wanted to use scented lotions, colognes, aftershave, etc...

I would like to add that this soap last a LONG TIME. A bar typically gets me about a months worth of showers.

I ordered the three bar combo for $15 from Nancy Boy last month. I got the mix and match with spa, invigorating and replenishing scents. So far I am working on the spa scent bar, and after a little over two weeks I am just halfway through the bar. I give it a 10 on price since even though they have raised the price to $18 for the three bar pack since I bought it it is still a fantastic bargain compared to the Baxter of California Lime cleansing bars I was using previously. Those cost $14 for a three bar pack, and I was lucky to get a week per bar. The lather is great, the bars clean well, and they don't dry my skin out like the Baxter bars did. I can't say I'm fond of the spa scent, but I'm sure I'll love the replenishing scent since I have liked every other replenishing scent product I have purchased from them. Also I loved the invigorating scent body wash so I think I'll like that scent as well. The product gets me clean and leaves my skin feeling great, what more can you ask for from a soap. The packaging is plain plastic wrap which is fine since it is not very wasteful. Overall another great Nancy Boy product that will keep me coming back for more.

I purchased the three pack from NB in different scents. I am a large guy with big hands and these bars of soap are HUGE. They last forever and lather up very good. I have hard water where I live and this soap still has amazing lather. Great stuff, I will purchase more when I run out someday.

I love this stuff! My bathroom smells amazing with it just sitting in the soap dish, and in the shower, a few turns of the bar in a wet washcloth generates TONS of lather. My skin feels great afterwards, too . . . moisturized but clean. No residue.

I won mine in the recent B&B Carnival, but I'll be restocking with my own funds when I use it all up . . . in, from the looks of it, about six months.

I'm a huge fan of the much more expensive and storied Savon de Marseille soaps from France; particularly the ones made with crushed, local flowers due to their amazing scent, natural exfoliating properties and rich latherability.......(try the orange blossom SdM and then feel free to send me a Thank You note) but, the NB Signature Scent soaps are a much better value, lather up an equally impressive storm, have equally wonderful moisturizing properties and come from a company I think is just great all around..........killer back story.....great, personal customer service.

A *good* deal on a 4 pack of mixed, crushed flower infused SdM soaps runs about $43.00.

A 3 pack of NB runs $15 after 15% membership discount......to obtain this discount you simply register for NB's occasional emails which happen to be entertaining to read and frequently offer further deals/discounts.

The longevity nod goes to the SdM, but not by much and we are talking about a nearly $10.00 difference PER BAR!!!

The NB Signature scent is amazingly peppery, refreshing and eye opening in a good way and blends very nicely with their equally great shampoo for an overall excellent showering/pre-shave experience.

My moisturizing test is the post-wash-tight-face test which both NB and SdM pass with flying colors.

The only knock I gave the NB soap is for packaging which is a simple shrink wrap. This knock is not because I want/need/prefer a fancy packaging, but due simply to the lack of enviro-friendliness of it. I prefer the simple, bio-degradable, craft paper wrapping of the MdS soaps.

Bottom line is I now have two favorite soaps, but due to the much better price of the NB it gets my Top Pick award.

Great company......great products in general......awesome soap!

As the weather gets cooler the wife and I have moved from the brisk Dr. Bronner's Peppermint & Lavender body wash to Nancy Boy's Signature Scent. I'll sum it up in one word: SUPAFRACKINTASTICALLYAMAZING Ahem...it works, no dry skin, feel clean, refreshed and the scent is just as good as their shaving cream. We've gone through the first cake and are now moving to the Spa Scent which I love - though my wife thinks it smells like a bathroom cleaner...oh well. Nonetheless, if you like Nancy Boy's shaving cream I'm sure you'll like this!
