» Welcome |
Greetings, and welcome to Badger & Blade!
Our mission is to provide a fun and informative site covering all aspects of the manly art of wet shaving, catering to all gentlemen, from beginners to seasoned pros. Why do we join? Lots of reasons, but for many, disdain for multi-blade and multi-dollar approaches to one of life's basic tasks leads us here. In the process, shaving becomes a treasured daily moment away from the rigors of our hectic lives. We become active members of the B&B community because we are drawn to a better shave, a community unparalleled anywhere online, and the pursuit of life's finer things, such as fine food and drink, cigars and other sophisticated pursuits.
We want you to consider Badger & Blade as an environment in which gentlemen can rediscover the enjoyment of grooming and discuss their hobbies with like-minded brethren in a respectful fashion as in the barbershops of old. If you are just starting out and would like advice, or if you've been wet shaving for years and would like to share your experiences, please feel free to register and post your thoughts, questions, or comments in the forums.
You may register by clicking here.
Thanks for stopping by,

B&B Site Changes
We've finished making some minor site updates which should help increase usability, as well as fix some minor glitches. At the same time, we've modified how ads are displayed on B&B. In order to help defray some of our costs, ads will now be viewable on the front page, to guests on all pages (as has been the case for some while), and to members ONLY on non-content/non-shaving related forum pages, like in The Barbershop, or BST. The ads should hopefully be minimally intrusive, but are necessary for a site of this size. We remain committed to keeping our content ad free, and hope that just showing ads on forums with non-shave-related banter and discussions strikes a healthy compromise.
As a perk/thank you to our contributors, all forum pages will remain ad free for all contributor levels. If you are interested in contributing to B&B, or would like to view all forum pages ad-free, you can ... [Read More]

ORDERING WINDOW = CLOSED
The amount of orders has tapered off over the last week or so - so we're going to close the order date a week sooner. We're close to the number needed for the butterscotch (about 140) but we need a minimum of 200, so we'd like to kick this into gear and figure out if the butterscotch color is going to be a go or not. If it is a no-go, we'll work out who would like to change to ebony and who would like a refund
This will be a one time, limited edition run made by Kent of England. This brush will surely become a collectable due to its sumptuous curves, limited exclusivity, and its luxurious triple stuffed 22mm silvertip knot with a 45mm lof... [Read More]

A belated kick-off of the haberdashery...
There are a few indisputable belongings gentlemen around the globe covet. Amongst the exclusive laundry list of fine items reside automobiles, timepieces and leather goods but at the root of all these lavish items lies the derivation of our interest – the craftsman. While the look, feel and design of a piece may catch the eye, it’s the tremendous skill, attention to detail and relentless pursuit of perfection a craftsman has bestowed upon an item, which really commandeer our interest. Simply put - gentlemen are naturally drawn to items, which exude impeccable quality as it stands as a tribute to the remarkable skill and dedication of our fellow man.
For most men, a briefcase is not merely a luxury, but a necessity. With such a heavily used item, ho... [Read More]
