I notice they are listed with the same stats on Italian Barber's site. Is the only difference the handle?
Omega 10098 & 10049 - same knot?

No, that must be a mistake. The 98 has a bigger knot.

Fendrihan has the 10098 as 28mm with a loft of 60. Italian Barber puts it at 27/65, as does Superior Shave.
The 10049 is at 27/65 on IB, but here on B&B, it's 25/63.
I'd say, based on what you've told me, that those measurements are probably right.

10098 = 27mm x 65mm
and the big boy, 10048 = 28mm x 69mm
edit, or maybe not. Guess it depends where you look, and the Omega wholesale site doesnt list dimensions. Maybe this is where we say YMMV.
