My Merkur Progress came apart. How do I push it back together?

I accidentally pulled it apart. I’ve attached a picture. How do I push it back together? Does it need to line up with the dimple on the handle?

I tried pushing it back it but it won’t go in.

Can you try screwing the parts together? There should be a threaded rod attached to the top cap that will thread together with the adjuster screw.

To answer your question about the adjustment mark, just tighten the adjustment screw all the way tight first, then loosen it to the indicated number that you want to set it on.
