Merkur Progress is the best shaver for me and I don’t know why

The Progress gives me a very close, smooth shave. There are things I don't like about it - how much I have to fiddle with it to get the blade aligned (though I am very picky about perfect alignment) and I use O-rings on the handle to get better purchase - but there is no arguing with the results.
