So…there I am salivating over the display case at a local Chattanooga gun shop wondering if/when the Colt Delta Elite I ordered 13 months ago will show up. Patience can be taxed indeed.
In the meantime I see a recent arrival on display…3” Colt Python. I’m thinking that “display” is the operative word here.
As I had never seen one of these in the flesh previously (I’m told they are a tad scarce), I asked to take a closer look. While doing so I’m told there is ONE in stock. Not for long I decided. About 30 minutes later, we’re home bound with a new snake.
Good company for the larger reptile that lives here.
Now I have to find a holster.

I was eyeballing a 3" at my LGS. They want too much for it and I really want a 6" if I buy one. Is the other Python a 4", Tim?

Yes.
I‘ve had the 4” Python for a while. One fine revolver.
They can be spendy. Got this 3” one for MSRP. Really can’t do better than that these days.

Nice. I really wish they made the new Python in 2.5" with service stocks. I'd like to have one to carry everyday.
