Has anybody tried mixing their favorite A/S with unscented lotion?

I'm asking because whenever I use an alcohol based splash, I always follow up with unscented lotion to hydrate my skin.

Just wondering if anybody has any experience with mixing the two?

I'm assuming the reason you're doing that and not using a scented ASB is that you already have the alcohol based splash and need to use it up. Is that correct?

That, and not all splashes that I like the scent of come in a balm.
