Gillette Gold Super Adjustable crooked/blade gap issue

Hi all,

This is my first post on this website after I searched the web far and wide for my issue. I know that similar threads exist from a few years back;

But I was wondering if my issue was the same and whether any new methods for adjusting the safety bars are recommended. Since I'm currently located in Singapore, its kind of difficult to find a (quality) dealer for these kinds of razors and I'd rather do it myself to be honest.

I've uploaded some hi-res pics here: http://imgur.com/a/8fsTs and taken them from a setting of "1" to "9", open and closed. I don't think that the push bars are crooked or anything, I think that the only issue is that I may have dropped the razor once and evenly pushed it too far inwards (towards the handle).

As you can see in the pics, one side is extremely close to the handle whilst the other side has a good gap. It also shaves this way; one side really aggressive, and the other is baby soft :) I guess my question is whether or not should I attempt to straighten it out and with what?

This is my second razor and my favorite (being a going-away gift and all) and I would like to keep using it for decades to come. If you think that I shouldn't attempt a DIY fix, then can anyone please recommend a local Singaporean dealer that could help me?

Apologies for the long post, thank you in advance to everyone for their help.

Regards,

W.
