If you look at the ingredients list for many shave creams, they are not very different from many products made as a pre-shave. So, let's say you have some extra shave cream that needs to be used up. Why, it works very well to just use a dab rubbed into the wet face a few minutes before shaving. No need to rinse, just lather your soap over top of it.
