Can anyone ID this razor?

It belonged to my grandfather, who used it for years. When my father was a child, he remembers him using it; that would have been in the middle to late 1940s and maybe 1950s.

The engraving doesn't say anything to me, but it is most surely made in Scheffield in the late 19th or early 20th century (judging by the lines and style). I know this is not too much to go on, but unless you find someone else who has one and knows more about theirs, you'll probably never know much more than this.

The razor is an heirloom, and I was just curious if anyone here would know anything about it.
