This video popped up in my YouTube feed and I found it very interesting. Anyone have experience with these tools shown in the video or know where to pick one up (vintage)?

They can be found fairly easily in antique stores. If they work at all it would probably be with carbon blades more than stainless.
They also made sharpeners shaped like that out of natural hone material (coticule, Tam o Shanter). I'd imaging those might be a little better.
At the end of the day, they were an example of how people would spend dollars to save pennies during the depression.

I've seen them but I've never used one.
