These are sellers pics but I was excited to have found a boxed Silkstone. That might be the last of the UK stones.

@cotedupy and I both have the Salmen stone that is believed to be a Silkstone, though I don't think the had a label with it written on the wooden box. Used with oil it is a pretty decent finisher.

I was wondering how many of you own a Silkstone and what you think of them. I just bought what i'm fairly certain is a Silkstone in great shape. It is 8" x 2"

I had a small-ish one in a box, Crossrocks or Cambrock or something like that was the maker maybe. Box, label, and printing was different than yours Rick.
Was a long while back when I had a contact in the UK that would dig up odd stuff at 'boot fairs' for a song.
