It's over; I'm done.

I got my Wickham English Rose in the mail today, so I am totally set for Jan. 1 and my 3-month Restraint.

The Wickham is a very soft soap indeed, softer than QCS cream, but it has that real-rose smell, plus a subtle undertone of something else vegetal and green. Good lather; I'll have to work on getting it thicker, but an excellent BBS shave, 2 passes + touch-up, no irritation.

Thiers Issard 69 N° 275 Special Coiffeur 1937​

Today's shave has been characterized by one of my favorite shaving soap ever - the magnificent P.160 - to me, unequaled shaving soap. The shave was nice also thanks to this lovely and super sharp Thiers Issard razor, as well as a brush I am very fond of: an old Omega 47, with aluminum handle, which was my father's and, after such a very long time, it is still doing an impeccable job. Glorious shave!​
